I Winter Sports and Tourism Forum
The 1st Winter Sports and Tourism Forum will be an event accompanying the 47th Bieg Piastów - Festival of Cross-Country Skiing. Representatives of various fields related to sport and tourism will present their views and information, and we hope for interesting discussions.
The forum will take place on Thursday and Friday, March 2 and 3, 2023. It is open to everyone. Application form below. Promotion specialists will tell you how they attract people to their towns and regions, Mariusz Gawlik from DCS Polana Jakuszycka and Waldemar Draheim from Karpacz Ski Arena will talk about managing winter sports infrastructure.
The legend of mountain rescue in Poland, Marian Sajnog, and the head of the Jelenia Góra Rescue Service, Mariusz Gierus, will discuss the education of people going to the mountains.
The president of Worldloppet Juha Viljamaa, the managing director of Worldloppet Epp Paal, David Dousa from Jizerska 50 and the president of Bieg Piastów Maciej Pawłowski will explain what Wordloppet is, what are the goals and forms of operation of this organization and talk about the problems of large ski races after the pandemic.
Robert Lubański from PKO Bank Polski and Przemysław Mandelt from Tauron Polska Energii will present examples of good sponsorship practices in the field of corporate social responsibility. The president of the Polish Biathlon Association, Joanna Badacz, and the president of the Lower Silesian Ski Association, Zofia Czernow, will explain what blockades and barriers the development of competitive and youth sports encounters.
Paweł Wiśniewski from the Przejście Kotliny Foundation, Karol Gołaj from the Szczyt za Szczytem Foundation and Leszek Kosiorowski from the Bieg Piastów Association will talk about the problems and limitations of the organizers of running competitions. The last three are also amateur participants who regularly compete in various competitions.
