The registration fee is the lowest in Wordloppet. In the first period of registration (tille the end of October) participation in 50 km race costs about 36 euro. Tracks and race center
The organizers try to make life as easy as possible for the competitors and provide them with maximum comfort. Starting numbers will be collected 50 meters from the start. It will be possible to wait for the start in a heated building, also 50 meters from the start. Registration will also be possible close to the start, also in the morning on the day of the competition.
All this is possible thanks to the modern venue DCS, which will also provide space for an expo and an underground parking lot. After the race, you can use the spa area and swimming pool, as well as eat something delicious in the restaurant with an impressive view of the Jakuszycka Glade and the Jizera Mountains.
The start and finish will be at the new DCS Polana Jakuszycka stadium. The main part of the route will lead - as always - through the mostly forested and natural areas of the Jizera Mountains. Very important: in the last few years, several thousand accommodation places have been added in the center of Szklarska Poręba, 6 km from the start and finish line. Many of them were built in high-standard hotels. Today, every participant of the Bieg Piastów can easily find affordable accommodation that suits their requirements. You can also use accommodation in Harrachov, Czech Republic - it is only 4 km from the start.
Only one point of programme of Bieg Piastów, but very special and important, will be organized out of DCS. I will be Masters Worldloppet Meeting. We will invite Masters as usual to the great party with a delicous food in the chat near hotel Bornit in the cinty center of Szklarska Poręba.
Easy access
Access to the starting point has also improved. In front of the entrance to DCS Polana Jakuszycka there is a railway platform. Trains from the Polish and Czech sides come here. The station is called: Polana Jakuszycka. Local and international Flixbus buses stop in Jakuszyce, 100 meters from the start (route: Prague - Wrocław). The nearest airports are in Wrocław, Prague, Dresden and Berlin.
