Dear Skiers!
Thank you for your comments on the options of transferring part of the entry fee to next year's Bieg Piastów and receiving starting packages for the 48th KGHM Bieg Piastów. Your comments helped us make the right decision. Briefly speaking, it means that all those registered for this year's 48th KGHM Bieg Piastów are entitled to a 50 percent discount on the entry fee for the Bieg Piastów in 2025 (in the first registration date). Of course, you don't have to come to us for a package to receive this discount.
We ask you to select one of the amended options on your accounts on the datasport.pl website:
1. A 50 percent discount on the starting fee for the same distance on the first registration date for the 49th Piastów Run plus the possibility of collecting a starting package for the 48th KGHM Bieg Piastów on March 1, 2, and 3 at DCS Polana Jakuszycka. You can pick up a package on someone's behalf based on the QR code. There is no need to collect the package to benefit from the discount.
2. A 50 percent discount on the entry fee for the same distance on the first registration date for the 49th Bieg Piastów plus receiving a shipment with the starting package for the 48th KGHM Bieg Piastów (applies to shipment within Poland).
3. Allocating the entry fee for the 48th KGHM Bieg Piastów for statutory purposes (including grooming of routes) of the Bieg Piastów Association, plus the possibility of collecting a starting package for the 48th KGHM Bieg Piastów on March 1, 2, and 3 at DCS Polana Jakuszycka.
4. Allocating the entry fee for the 48th KGHM Bieg Piastów for statutory purposes (including grooming of the routes) of the Bieg Piastów Association plus receiving a shipment with the starting package for the 48th KGHM Bieg Piastów (applies to shipment within Poland).
The deadline to choose is Wednesday, February 28.
If no option is selected, we will consider that the skier has automatically selected option
1. Regardless of the above proposals, we invite everyone to the event that we are organizing in Szklarska Poręba-Jakuszyce on March 1, 2 and 3. Below is its preliminary program. We will provide further details in the coming days.
1. Running and walking trips (on the same routes), free, with guides:
March 1, at 12:00 "The highest point of the Bieg Piastów track" (to the mine) approximately 13 km.
March 2, at 9:00 "In the footsteps of the old Piasts" (to Polana Izerska) approximately 24 km.
March 3, at 10:00 "We connect the tracks of Jizerska 50 and Bieg Piastów" (to Jizerka) about 16 km.
2. The Bibs Distribution Centre will be open: Friday, March 1, 2024 opening hours 9am-4pm. Saturday, March 2, 2024 opening hours 8am-5pm Sunday, March 3 opening hours 9am-3pm
3. Screenings of a film about Julian Gozdowski
Friday, March 1, 2024 - 10:00 and 14:00
Saturday, March 2, 2024 - 10:00 and 15:00
Sunday, March 3, 2024 - 10:00 and 13:00
4. Winter Sports Forum Details soon, after receiving confirmation of participants' participation.
5. Children's rally (weather dependent) – Saturday 11:00 (starting packages and medals for children)
6. Integration bonfire – Saturday at 1:00 p.m.
7. Bieg Piastów shop with the opportunity to purchase the new Bieg Piastów ski collection. It will be open during Bibs Distribution Centre opening hours.
8. Solo races for the Worldloppet stamp - skiing on the tracks that will remain near Jakuszyce. Details soon after arrangements with Worldloppet are made. We invite you!
